Haenyeo’s Kitchen creates a new chapter in promoting haenyeo(woman divers) by introducing Jeju’s seafood and related content to consumers. In 2021, Kimustudio collaborated on the product and goods design for the Jeju Haenyeo Project re-informing the value of Jeju’s haenyeo and seafood, which are slowly being forgotten. The artwork shows the pleasant and lively drawing and coloring of the Jeju sea, and fun elements like hidden ttewak(mesh bag) used by haenyeos. Completed as a collaboration project, haenyeo art posters, horned turban snail products, and magnets achieved 904% on the crowdfunding platform ‘Wadiz’.
